This policy explains what Home Buyers WA, a trade name of Prism Development LLC [NEEDS: WA UBI number. AND SEE BLOCKER — the trade name registered with the WA Department of Revenue is “Prism Homes,” NOT “Home Buyers WA.” RCW 19.80 requires registering every name a business operates under, so “Home Buyers WA” must be added to the business licence before this sentence is accurate] (“we,” “us”) collects when you use this website or contact us about a property, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

When you submit our offer form or contact us, we collect what you give us:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • The address of the property you are asking about, and details you choose to share about its condition, occupancy or your timeline
  • Anything else you write to us in the notes field or in later correspondence

We also receive limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed, which our hosting provider logs as part of serving the site.

Separately, we review publicly available property information — county records, permit filings, tax assessments and recorded sales — as part of evaluating a property. That information comes from public sources, not from you.

How we use it

  • To evaluate the property and prepare an offer
  • To contact you about that property by phone, text or email
  • To carry out a transaction if you accept an offer, including sharing what is necessary with a title or escrow company
  • To keep our own records and comply with legal obligations

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, you are asking us to contact you about your property. If you separately check the SMS consent box, you agree that we may call and text you at that number, including by automated means, about your property. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to stop calling by telling us so.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not put it on marketing lists or sell it to lead buyers. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example our website host, email provider and the software we use to store leads — and only for that purpose
  • Title, escrow, legal and lending professionals involved in a transaction you have entered into
  • An investor we assign a purchase contract to — if you have signed a purchase contract with us and we assign our rights under it, we share with that buyer what is needed to complete your transaction, and only for that purpose. This does not happen unless you have a signed contract with us.
  • Anyone we are legally required to share it with, such as in response to a subpoena or court order

How long we keep it

We keep property inquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them for business and recordkeeping purposes, and longer where a transaction occurred and records must be retained. [CONFIRM YOUR RETENTION PERIOD]

Your choices

You can, at any time:

  • Ask us what information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep
  • Ask us to stop contacting you

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages they land on, how long they stay, and whether they reach the offer form. It sets cookies in your browser and tells us about visits in aggregate. We use it to improve the site and to see which advertising is worth paying for, not to build a profile of you as an individual.

We also record how you arrived — the advertisement or link you clicked, and the search campaign it belonged to — and store that alongside your enquiry if you submit the form. That is how we tell which advertising produces real conversations rather than clicks.

We do not use advertising-retargeting pixels. We are not following you around other websites with ads for this one, and there is no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel and no third-party ad-network tag on this site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or private-browsing mode. Blocking them does not stop you using this site or submitting the form.

Information you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
